The Role
We’re a fast-growing technology company based in Santa Rosa, CA with a growing engineering team based in Chicago, Il. We are looking for a contract recruiter for 6 to 9 months, with a chance to extend to help buildout our Engineering department. You’ll own technical hiring end-to-end, working closely with the Engineering Leadership and team to bring in top-tier talent.
This is not a “post and pray” role. We’re looking for someone who loves sourcing, building pipelines from scratch, and closing hard-to-find technical candidates.
What You’ll Do
- Run full-cycle recruiting for engineering, data, and product roles
- Partner directly with hiring managers to shape roles and hiring strategy
- Proactively source talent (LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, creative outreach)
- Screen candidates and guide them through a smooth, human interview process
- Keep hiring moving fast without sacrificing quality or candidate experience
- Track pipeline and hiring metrics in our ATS (Workable)
- Share real-time market insights with the team
- Create and maintain a recruiting dashboard
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience (startup or high-growth environment preferred)
- Strong sourcing skills and comfort reaching out to passive candidates
- Solid understanding of technical roles and skill sets
- Ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity
- Clear communicator who can influence and partner with busy stakeholders
