Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager, our first dedicated sales hire, who will play a pivotal role in building MYVAGON’s commercial engine from the ground up.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with strategic responsibility, designed for an experienced sales professional who is comfortable both closing deals personally and helping shape the future sales organization.

Internally, we refer to this role as the Sales Shepherd: a leader on the field who sells, guides direction, and lays the foundations for scale.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution

  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from lead qualification to deal closing
  • Actively prospect, follow up, negotiate, and close new customer accounts
  • Conduct product demos and commercial discussions with prospective clients
  • Manage and grow a sales pipeline with a strong focus on conversion and revenue

Commercial Structuring

  • Contribute to defining the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Refine sales messaging, pitch materials, and value propositions based on market feedback
  • Help structure the sales funnel, including stages, qualification criteria, and KPIs
  • Provide regular, data-driven feedback to founders on sales performance and market insights

Foundations for Scale

  • Document sales processes, objections, and best practices
  • Support the setup of sales tracking and performance measurement
  • Prepare the groundwork for onboarding and training future sales hires as the team grows

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Proven track record of closing deals as an individual contributor
  • Experience selling and closing software, platforms, marketplaces, or complex B2B solutions
  • Experience and comfort success in startups or early stage business environments
  • Experience working in fast-paced or uncertain environments is a strong plus
  • Proven track record building and managing a sales team/department

Skills

  • Professional Fluency in both Greek and English
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Structured, data-oriented approach to sales activity and performance
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales tools
