We are seeking a creative Junior Graphic Designer with 1–2 years of experience to join our dynamic and scaling team. In this role, you will design and produce digital and print assets, including client and advertising media graphics, web banners, email templates, and marketing materials. You’ll manage image assets, prepare files for various outputs, and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, has a strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory, and can manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Experience working in a quickly evolving environment is highly desirable, as we are scaling quickly and things move fast. A degree in graphic design or a related field and a portfolio showcasing a range of work both digitally and in print is essential.

Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

  • A degree in graphic design or a related creative field.
  •  1-2 Years experience in the Graphic Design Field creating both for digital and print audiences.

Key Responsibilities: 

Design & Production: Create engaging digital and print assets, including social media graphics, web banners, email templates, marketing materials, presentations, infographics, and event collateral.

Concept Development: Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop fresh visual concepts for campaigns and product launches. Stay updated on design trends and bring innovative ideas to the team.

Asset Management: Resize and optimise images for multiple platforms, format documents, and maintain organized digital asset libraries for easy access and version control.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, copywriters, and other stakeholders to ensure visuals align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Brand Adherence: Ensure all designs follow established brand identity and style guides, maintaining consistency across all visual touchpoints.

File Preparation: Prepare production-ready artwork for print, digital, and packaging outputs, ensuring correct specifications and quality standards.

Required Skills

Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is essential for creating high-quality digital and print assets. Familiarity with preparing production-ready files for various outputs (print, digital, packaging).

Design Expertise: Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and design principles to produce visually compelling and brand-consistent designs. Ability to adapt designs for different platforms and formats while maintaining quality and consistency.

Strong Portfolio: A well-curated portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail across both digital and print mediums.

Soft Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with marketing teams, copywriters, and stakeholders. Creative problem-solving ability to overcome design challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

Positive and pragmatic approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude, ready to dive right in and contribute to projects from day one. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling start-up environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in our office in Beverly, MA (after an initial induction period of 5 days per week), to help foster excellent working relationships with the team and to to work alongside the Marketing Director. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
