We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead project planning and execution across multiple job sites. The Construction Manager will coordinate work between field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience managing construction operations from pre-construction through project close-out. This position supports Balton Construction’s commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and on-site resources
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Communicate progress and issues with upper management and clients
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers on change orders and scheduling
- Resolve on-site problems promptly to maintain project timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5 or more years of construction management experience in commercial or residential projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency with construction management software and project tracking tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites
