This is a one-year renewable contract where you will serve as an expert consultant to leadership, ensuring information systems meet the highest regulatory standards.

The Essentials 📋

To be successful in this role, your resume must clearly demonstrate the following years of experience:

• 5+ Years of IT Experience: Hands-on work or auditing experience with IBM System 390/zSeries, Windows, Linux, Databases (Relational and Non-Relational), Networking Infrastructure, and Web-based Applications.
• FISMA/NIST Compliance: Proven experience working within programs compliant with FISMA or NIST frameworks.
• eGRC Systems: Prior experience utilizing any enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) systems.
• Professional Certification: Must hold a current ISC(2), ISACA, SANS GIAC, or equivalent Information Security Certification.
• Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders and vendors.
• Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Extra Credit (Preferred Qualifications) ✨

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• ITIL: Prior experience in Information Security Management using ITIL frameworks.
• Health IT: Experience within the Health Information Technology sector.
• Cloud Security: Familiarity with security requirements for cloud services and vendor management.

Location & Logistics 📍

• Work Setting: This position is fully onsite (5 days a week) in Columbia.
• Residency: Candidates must already reside in the local area.
• Estimated Start Date: February 10, 2026.
• Compensation: $73.92 - $81.93 / hour. *

Closing Date: January 12, 2026
