DevOps Engineer - Global Fintech & Digital Money Platform

Location: Remote - They would prefer people in NYC but will accept people in Europe or Puerto Rico

Compensation: $180K - $250K

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to deliver massive impact by owning and scaling our critical infrastructure. You will be a key driver of the technical roadmap and architectural decisions for a product rapidly scaling to millions of end-users.

The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in managing, scaling, and securing our multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring rapid, reliable deployments for a high-performance financial product.

  • Infrastructure Roadmap: Be a critical part of defining and executing the technical infrastructure roadmap and driving key architectural decisions.
  • Cloud Management & Scaling: Manage our cloud environments across GCP and AWS, focusing on scaling infrastructure to support millions of end-users globally.
  • CI/CD Leadership: Lead the creation and maintenance of our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable rapid and reliable deployments.
  • Blockchain Infrastructure: Build infrastructure components designed to interact with millions of smart contracts across dozens of blockchains.
  • Performance & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.
  • Security & Compliance Automation: Automate security controls and compliance processes to protect sensitive financial data in a regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong professional experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, for managing cloud resources at scale.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Proven track record designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Cloud Operations: Experience managing production environments in major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or similar).
  • Observability: Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in fintech (neobank or card issuing experience is a plus).
  • Experience with blockchain infrastructure or decentralized applications.
