D&F Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial and industrial construction projects from planning through close-out. The Project Manager will oversee project schedules, budgets, quality control, safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. This role is critical to ensuring projects are executed efficiently, meet contractual requirements, and uphold the company’s standards for quality and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, construction knowledge, and excellent communication skills to support our project teams and clients throughout all phases of the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and specifications.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project progress.
- Develop, manage, and update project schedules; proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact timelines.
- Prepare and review project budgets, cost estimates, and change orders to maintain profitable performance.
- Monitor jobsite safety, quality assurance, compliance with codes, and contract requirements.
- Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement of materials, and resource allocation for efficient execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control practices.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and maintain positive working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and contract administration.
