North Park Theological Seminary is the denominational seminary of the Evangelical Covenant Church and is part of North Park University. Position Summary

  • North Park Theological Seminary is seeking to hire a full-time coordinator to assist the project director in executing with excellence “One Covenant Community,” a five-year, large-scale collaborative project funded by the Lilly Endowment’s Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative. This is a time-limited position, to begin January 1, 2026, and end December 31, 2030. Reports to project director. The successful candidate will be based at North Park’s campus in Chicago.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of grant meetings and gatherings, including scheduling, attendance, logistics, and evaluation
  • Maintain detailed records and minutes of grant meetings, activities, and evaluation
  • Maintain ongoing communication with multiple, diverse partnering organizations regarding reporting timelines and requirements, subaward management, invoicing, and assigned task completion
  • Assist the Project Director with project management tasks including adherence to established timelines and budgets, reporting, evaluation, data collection, and
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Project Director and the North Park University Business Office on budget management, invoicing, and procurement in accordance with institutional sponsored project policy and process
  • Manage promotional communications, including website, social media, and email marketing.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skill
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; website management experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage complex projects and facilitate strong relational networks with diverse partners, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Basic accounting and budget management skills
  • Commitment to the flourishing of Christian congregations and pastors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Seminary degree
  • Denominational or conference experience
  • Knowledge of Covenant institutions and distinctives

Salary Range for this position is $46,000 to $56,000, depending on experience.
