As an End User Computing Engineer/Cisco AV Specialist, you will be the primary owner of QRT’s AV and collaboration environment in Paris delivering reliable and innovative conferencing solutions across meeting spaces. Your expertise in Cisco AV engineering and support will be key in ensuring seamless hybrid collaboration worldwide. Alongside this, as part of the Windows Engineering team, you will assist with Engineering and support of the Windows desktop ecosystem, Microsoft 365, Intune, and VDI platforms, providing secure and consistent end-user experiences across the business.
Your Future Role at QRT:
Cisco AV & Collaboration (≈60%)
- Design, engineer, and provide escalation support for Cisco AV solutions within the Paris office.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco codecs, room systems, and video conferencing infrastructure.
- Integrate Cisco systems with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Microsoft 365.
- Troubleshoot AV performance, interoperability, and call quality issues.
- Maintain video walls, digital signage, and interactive kiosks.
- Provide 3rd-line support to ensure high availability and resilience.
- Manage vendor relationships for AV procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AV technologies to enhance collaboration.
- Align AV standards and best practices with global engineering teams.
End User Computing (≈40%)
- Configure and support Windows 10/11 environments with a focus on performance and security.
- Administer Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, calling) and integrate with AV infrastructure.
- Manage Microsoft Intune and Entra ID for device configuration and compliance.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate desktop and collaboration processes.
- Support Citrix DaaS and VMware ESXi for VDI environments.
- Manage Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Implement endpoint protection using Microsoft Defender and BitLocker.
- Troubleshoot networking, application, and peripheral issues.
- Oversee the full hardware lifecycle—from deployment to decommissioning.
Your present skillset:
- Deep expertise in Cisco AV engineering within enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Cisco codecs, room systems, and Microsoft Teams integration.
- Experience with hybrid AV ecosystems (Cisco, Crestron, Poly, Logitech, Yealink).
- Solid troubleshooting skills across AV, networking, and collaboration tools.
- Proven experience managing Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 services.
- Advanced knowledge of Intune, Entra ID, and PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Citrix DaaS and other VDI platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver user training.
