Team mission
The AI Transformation and enablement Manager will be a pivotal force in driving the strategic adoption and effective utilization of AI across all departments at GetYourGuide. This role is designed for a proactive AI power user who brings both business acumen and AI expertise. You have a deep understanding of AI capabilities and how they work in organizations, can bridge technical and business challenges, and are passionate about empowering internal teams to enhance productivity, innovation, and business impact through AI. You will act as the central point of contact for AI enablement, working closely with people leaders and departments to build capabilities, manage key projects, and foster a culture of AI literacy.
Your mission
- Drive End-to-End AI Enablement: Design and deliver agile, organization-wide AI adoption and upskilling initiatives. Own the creation of resources, workshops, hackathons, and summits—covering both practical AI skills, new tools and mindset shifts. Continuously update and adapt offerings as AI tools and best practices evolve.
- Partner with People Partners and Strategy Teams: Collaborate with People Partners and Strategy teams to drive department-specific AI transformations. Support capability building, AI upskilling, and change management tailored to each function's needs.
- Strategic Project Management: Define and manage AI rollout timelines with clear milestones and deliverables. Measure and report on adoption effectiveness, engagement metrics, and impact to inform ongoing strategy and improvements.
- Act as an AI Coach & Sparring Partner: Become a trusted partner and go-to expert for AI coaching and problem-solving. Provide direct support and sparring to teams and individuals as they experiment and implement AI in their work.
- Foster a Learning Community: Partner with the internal communications team to build a strong AI community through amplification, rituals, and the AI mentor network. Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for AI mentors, and oversee the growth and success of the AI Hub as the central resource for knowledge sharing.
- Champion the User Voice: Establish robust feedback loops to capture the pulse of the organization regarding AI adoption. Synthesize insights and connect the dots between employees and executives—ensuring needs, challenges, and success stories inform our AI roadmap and strategic decisions.
Your toolkit
- Background: Business analytics, data science, statistics, or a business role where you've built AI solutions yourself.
- AI Power User: You're a power user of AI tools with hands-on experience building workflows, automations, or AI solutions for yourself or other teams. You have a solid understanding of AI systems and how to leverage them. New AI developments excite you—you're always on the ball, quickly learning and exploring what's possible.
- Enablement & Communication: You excel at translating complex AI concepts into accessible language for any audience. You remove complexity and make AI approachable, with a genuine passion for helping others learn and grow.
- Stakeholder Partnership: You build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and leaders. You're independent and self-sufficient, able to build trust and drive adoption across teams without hand-holding—similar to a customer success manager in SaaS.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: You get a kick out of solving business problems and use cases with AI, and helping others do the same. You're a self-starter who learns by doing and teaches others what you've discovered.
Extras that give you an edge
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a dynamic, adaptive, fast-paced environment
- Proven experience influencing leadership and coaching non-technical teams through change
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
