About the Team:
The Collections team is a core vertical within the Finance function, focused on ensuring a healthy cash conversion process for the business. We work closely with internal stakeholders across Business teams to monitor outstanding exposures and engage directly with customers to drive timely collections. Our mandate is to manage the end-to-end receivables lifecycle by identifying payment bottlenecks, driving resolution through collaboration, and ensuring revenue efficiently converts into cash flow.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Manager – Ads Collections to lead collections efforts for our advertising revenue portfolio. This role will own customer collections, work closely with internal partners, and drive initiatives that reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and minimize bad debt. You’ll provide insights through reporting and MIS, and build strong strategic relationships with business stakeholders and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities :
Drive timely collections from customers to achieve agreed targets and improve cash flow.
Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively engage with customers to resolve payment delays.
Coordinate with internal Business teams (Sales, Account Management, Finance, Legal) to address disputes, clarify billing issues, and unblock overdue payments.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce bad debt exposure.
Prepare, maintain, and present robust reporting and MIS on collection performance, trends, and forecasts.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Leadership based on data analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualification :
MBA in Finance is a must
Proven experience in collections management, ideally in a high-growth digital / advertising / fintech / tech environment.
Strong track record of meeting/exceeding collection targets and reducing DSO.
Excellent stakeholder management skills — able to work cross-functionally with internal teams and directly with customers.
Exceptional analytical skills with experience in reporting, MIS, and performance tracking.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Excel and relevant financial / collections tools
