Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of user-centered products by translating user needs and business goals into effective design solutions.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly convey design intent.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure alignment between design and functionality.
  • Stay updated on design trends and technologies, integrating best practices into the design process.
  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design methodologies and tools.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, articulating the value of design decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the technology or energy sectors.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful product design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or equivalent software.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex design challenges.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
