You Are:
The Operational/Functional SME Senior Manager will lead innovative strategies and guidance for federal clients. As an industry expert, you will provide thought leadership and direction in technology strategy, assessment, and delivery of highly complex solutions. This role is heavily focused on maintaining and building strong client and industry partnerships, along with internal executive guidance. As a SME, you will share knowledge and expertise across the practice and identify and understand industry trends and client challenges to provide results.
The Work:
- Assess, manage, and ensure Accenture is delivering meaningful client outcomes
- Provide subject matter expertise across multiple critical initiatives
- Collaborate with other leaders from across Accenture and leverage the innovations and extensive resources of the firm
- This role requires a combination of three important skills and experiences:
- (1) exceptional advisor and client relationship management skills
- (2) Deep expertise on business process improvement methodologies
- (3) strong leadership skills, including the capacity to attract and develop leading talent, delegate effectively, and inspire action amongst a large team.
- Provide subject matter expertise and solutions
Here Is What You Need:
- Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of industry experience
- Experience with one or more of the following: program/project delivery, transformation, implementation, and/or dependency management
- Experience in one of the following: management, operations, or leadership
- Experience in process improvement and business process reengineering methodologies
- Experience in developing, coordinating, and establishing workforce plans, policies and standards
Bonus Points If:
- Advanced Degree
- 15+ years of industry experience
- Direct expirence working for the Federal Government
- Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
- Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
- Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent people management and relationship development skills
- In-depth knowledge of Accenture delivery methodologies and practices

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
