What does it mean to be a Refinance Coordinator II at GLS?
As a Refinance Coordinator II, you will play a pivotal role in originating new consumer refinance transactions. You will serve as a subject matter expert for prospective customers and will be responsible to answer questions as the transaction moves through the refinance process. Responsibilities will include administrative functions as well as customer interactions in support of refinance transactions.
How will you drive value within the organization as a Refinance Coordinator II?
Convert application approvals to in-process applications to eventually convert to loans
Communicate with prospective customers by telephone and/or electronic methods to: Explain the refinance process and educate consumers on the benefits of refinancing with GLS. Provide assistance and guidance on all necessary documentation for the refinance process.
Communicate with current applicants via phone, email, and other methods to: Ensure their refinance transaction is moving seamlessly through the origination process. Serve as a resource for inbound callers who have questions or concerns about their refinance transaction. Provide best-in-class service to process and finalize refinance transactions.
Complete verifications, prepare documents, and maintain work logs in an effort to close refinance transactions
Address funding issues, including escalating origination issues as necessary
Maintain acceptable customer service levels and turnaround times to achieve volume targets
Maintain electronic records and files that support work performed, results, and outcomes
Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management
What should you already know to be successful as a Refinance Coordinator II?
High school diploma or equivalent required
Financial services or auto industry experience preferred but not required
Confident self-starter that operates at a high level with limited supervision
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels inside and outside of the organization
Meets deadlines without missing important details
Basic skills in using a variety of computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Office products
Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies
Employment Requirements:
Significant portions of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger dexterity
Remain in a stationary position up to 100% of the workday
Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment
Job functions involve sedentary to light physical effort. Physical demands range from sitting, walking, standing, or pushing or pulling materials. Work may involve exerting up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
Be able to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, bending, and kneeling
Schedule:
This position is full-time
This is a position where business need dictates the exact work schedule. Generally, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am-6:00 pm
Regular, predictable attendance is required, including overtime hours as business demands dictate
Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
