Veterans Engineering is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role is vital in providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, where your training and expertise will impact patients' lives directly. You will be responsible for diagnosing and managing acute medical conditions and traumatic injuries while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of emergency medical conditions
  • Manage trauma, cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and acute medical emergencies
  • Perform emergency procedures including intubations, central lines, chest tubes, suturing, reductions, and resuscitation
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and laboratory studies
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary teams to coordinate patient car
  • Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) accurately and timely
  • Supervise and support residents, advanced practice providers, or medical students (if applicable)
  • Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and department initiatives. Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (Emergency Medicine OR Internal Medicine/Family Practice with ER experience)
  • Current, active medical license in the state of practice
  • BLS & ACLS (current)
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • DEA license

Travel Requirements

Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
