South Post Oak Recycling is looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team! This is a hands-on opportunity for a college student who wants to gain real-world experience in marketing, design, and brand development. You’ll collaborate with our marketing and operations teams on campaigns that make an impact — from concept to execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with the design and creation of marketing materials, including digital graphics, presentations, and promotional collateral.
  • Support the purchasing and coordination of branded items such as apparel, signage, and other company merchandise.
  • Collaborate on email marketing campaigns — drafting copy, designing visuals, and analyzing engagement metrics.
  • Contribute ideas to content calendars, social media strategy, and branding initiatives.
  • Help maintain consistent brand identity across digital and print materials.
  • Support administrative and organizational tasks within the marketing department.
Requirements

Who You Are:

  • A Junior or Senior currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, majoring in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiar with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), or similar.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an eye for design and brand consistency.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn.
  • Experience or coursework in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact) is a plus.
