The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services is looking for a Director - Government Training Integration & EICLA Portfolio Support. The Director will be able to join the team in Hazelwood, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
This position reports to the senior leader of Europe, Israel, Canada, Latin America (EICLA) and Government Training Integration and has the RAA to lead business sustainment, growth and execution strategies in several geographies across Europe, Israel, Canada, Latin America (EICLA) in addition to leading the Government Training Integration SOW across BGS-G.
This position is accountable for driving functional excellence across multiple disciplines, managing relationships with subsidiaries to enable a "One Boeing" approach, and representing the organization to key suppliers, customers, industry associations, and government stakeholders.
This position will develop and drive an integrated government training strategy across U.S. and international portfolios. This role leads initiatives including IRAD investment in products, strategic partnerships, and cross-functional integration—particularly with Engineering—while serving as BGS-G’s primary representative for training in internal and external forums.
The leader identifies and resolves program-level training challenges across U.S. and International Government Services, consolidates BGS-G inputs for customer, program, and BDS queries, and coordinates BGS-G participation in events.
This role is critical to addressing persistent execution issues, technical debt, and increasing competition.
The leader will implement systemic, foundational changes to how we support and deliver training programs and will develop and execute a cohesive, prioritized training strategy.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years leadership skills with the ability to provide strategic direction to multi-disciplinary teams to deliver business outcomes within defined timeframes
10+ years demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and customers across cultural and geographic boundaries
10+ years experience in project management, business, engineering, maintenance or a related field with relevant industry experience
5+ years experience with Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) Management principles and associated governance frameworks to support program execution.
Extensive experience managing budget and schedule baselines, including application of the Earned Value Management System
Extensive experience executing programs in both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contracts
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and achieve change through collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
University education in project management, business, engineering, maintenance or a related field with relevant industry experience
