Job Summary
Provides assistance to other district personnel with research studies and program evaluations.
Essential Functions
1. Assists with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data related to district programs and initiatives with a focus increasing student achievement.
2. Assists with providing in-service training for both school-based and district-based sta? on state and district testing platforms.
3. Plans, prepares, and facilitates professional development including face-to-face training sessions and online professional development via TEAMs concerning Performance Matters and district and state testing.
4. Assists with state-mandated reporting and assessment procedures, including but not limited to: collecting, compiling, and analyzing data related to state and district testing.
5. Assists teachers and schools with testing related questions via phone, TEAMs or email.
6. Supports DCPS employees and charter school employees regarding state testing
platforms.
7. Support with inquiries involving CAST student data scores that are included in teacher evaluation scores
8. Provides professional development opportunities for improving Microsoft EXCEL skills through TEAMs trainings and CANVAS courses.
9. Creates various monitoring reports that assist schools with percent tested in district and state testing.
10. Assist with coordination and administration of home education and private school state testing requirements.
11. Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to part-time employees and school testing designees to ensure consistent implementation of testing protocols.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Graduate course work in educational research, psychology or educational administration preferred.
Experience: Professional training and experience in data collection and analysis.Experience with district/state testing preferred. Experience with leading professional development preferred.
Certifications & Licenses: Florida Department of Education certification.

• Knowledge of practices, methods, and procedures related to conducting research studies and evaluations
• Knowledge of all aspects of both the district assessment and data analysis platforms • Knowledge of Google products such as Drive, Calendar, and Maps
