About the role
The Fostering Support & Development team are looking for a Social Worker with a passion for achieving excellence to join our Team. Being a Supervising Social Worker you must be willing to make a positive difference and support the achievement of change for the Children and Young People of Barnet using a resilience, secure base and relationship based models of social work.

About you
You must have:
- Experience of working with children and families
- Experience of working with foster carers
Qualification(s) · DipSW, BA Degree or Msc in Social Work
Knowledge and Skills
- Good working knowledge of look after children’s legislation and care standards
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent recording and reporting skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Ability to build relationships with key partners
- Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures
