As the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, you will manage digital media strategy and execution for International Marketing for Sony Music Entertainment in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-impact media buying strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring campaign prioritization across multiple markets and platforms.

To be successful, you need to have a deep understanding of digital advertising, data-driven decision making, and team leadership to deliver innovative campaigns that amplify our artists’ reach.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Manage digital media strategies for international artist projects across all major digital platforms (Spotify, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads and other platforms).
  • Manage budget allocation and forecasting for all digital campaigns and ensuring maximum ad efficiency. Monitor performance and implement real-time optimizations to drive targets/KPIs.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform ad strategies and set benchmarks. Make recommendations for continuous improvement to campaigns and create post-mortem analyses.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Digital Manager and broader digital team. Set clear campaign priorities in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Own media planning and buying ads across DSPs and social media platforms.
  • Align paid media efforts with Creative Team through organic content, engaged creators and ad creatives to create an integrated digital presence, ensure synergy with social media messaging and artist branding.
  • Align with the Audience Development Team by providing recommendations to profile and segmentation of our audiences integrating into the digital marketing strategies.
  • Partner with the Head of Digital to develop and execute paid media campaigns and CRM strategies for the region, manage reporting and data deep dives.
  • Partner with global counterparts to implement best practices and drive consistency across markets.
  • Manage relationships with ad platform representatives and be able to negotiate artist campaign opportunities in the region.

 

Who You Are:

  • 5-7 years’ experience working in digital marketing or media strategy, ideally in music, entertainment, or streaming.
  • Proven track record in digital media buying and budget management at scale at a media agency or on the brand side for leading global brands in SEA, HK, TW.
  • Expertise in digital ad platforms (Spotify, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube, etc).
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing, advertising, and media planning principles with an expert knowledge across all channels
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to manage teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven; strong understanding of performance metrics and optimization techniques.
  • International experience, understanding of cultural diversity and nuances.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Driven by curiosity and innovation, with a deep interest in understanding fans, culture, genres, trends, our markets, and one another.
  • Capable of working independently and thriving in ambiguity, managing multiple projects and stakeholders with agility, speed, and precision in a fast-paced environment.
