Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a part-time Payroll Assistant to join our team at Patina Event Catering in Los Angeles, California. As a Payroll Assistant, you will process hourly payroll for our team members at Patina Event Catering on a weekly basis. The Payroll Assistant is an essential part of the accounting team and alongside hourly payroll, you will support accounts payable by processing invoices and payments.

Responsibilities:- Responsible for the weekly processing of the hourly payroll at the property
- Ensure the payroll complies with local, state, federal, and company policies
- Partner with managers to ensure all team members are paid accurately
- Be a point of contact for team members that have questions about their pay
- Process union dues deductions and prepares check requests for approval and payment
- Review and process purchase orders and invoices in the accounts payable system for approval
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a payroll clerk position
- Ability to understand and take appropriate action on all payroll related issues
- Proficiency in MS Office, including excellent Excel skills
- No high school diploma or GED required
