Primary Required Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

●      Provide administrative leadership as Clinical Program Coordinator for the M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology program, managing processes related to clinical education and program operations.

●      Foster and develop long-term interprofessional and collaborative clinical relationships within and beyond the university.

●      Coordinate community-based clinical practicum experiences.

●      Provide graduate student clinical education and training in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

●      Teach six courses per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate levels; examples of high-priority courses include Introduction to Communication Disorders, Clinical Methods, and Clinical Practicum. Additional courses may be available, depending on the candidate’s area of expertise.

●      Academic and clinical advising for students and contribute to departmental, school, and college service.

●      Engage in scholarly activity regarding clinical innovations and evidence-based practice. This is encouraged but not required for clinical faculty.

Pay Transparency Statement:

The annual starting base salary range for this position is from $62,000-$70,000. CWRU considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Minimum Qualifications

●      Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (SLP).

●      Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

●      Possession of, or eligibility for, Ohio SLP licensure by the time of employment.

●      At least three years of clinical supervision experience and at least five years of direct clinical SLP experience.

●      Classroom teaching experience is preferred.
