The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will help lead the dealership’s day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in sales, service, parts, and finance. This role requires a results-driven leader with a strong understanding of automotive dealership operations and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing all dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance departments.
Support the development and execution of strategies to meet dealership goals, including revenue, gross profit, and guest satisfaction metrics.
Help manage and mentor department managers, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
Monitor dealership performance through reports, KPIs, and other operational metrics.
Address guest issues and ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
Assist with hiring, training, and performance management across departments.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and industry regulations.
Act as the General Manager in their absence when required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in automotive dealerships, preferably with Chevrolet, Mazda, or other major brands.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of automotive sales, service, parts, and finance operations.
Ability to analyze performance metrics and develop actionable plans for improvement.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Results-oriented with the ability to motivate teams and drive dealership success.
