Job Description:

This role will be based in Mountain View, San Francisco, or New York.

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

The Messenger’s team mission is to empower professionals to nurture connections, exchange knowledge, and explore new opportunities through meaningful private conversations relevant to their professional sphere.

This role will own the end-to-end experience of how members start private conversations, reply to them, and manage those conversations in their inbox. You’ll work with cross-functional partners within design, engineering, product marketing, strategic finance, and operations to bring our ideas to life. Plus, partner with teams across consumer & customer lines-of-business to empower new ways to have productive private conversations.

You’ll have the opportunity to modernize the messaging experience, from yesterday’s email-like heavy outreach to tomorrow’s chat-like experience, light-weight and delightful. In addition, you’ll help ensure that every inbox is valuable, which encourages valuable member<>member conversations and balances the need for relevant customer outreach. Your work will have a massive impact on helping members nurture existing networks, transitioning conversations around knowledge from public > private spaces, and helping customers find new opportunities through productive 2-way conversations with members (ex. hiring talent, finding new partners and leads).

Searching for your dream job? At LinkedIn, we strive to help our employees find passion and purpose. Join us in changing the way the world works.
