Job Responsibilities:

  • Leverage trends, data, consumer & shopper insights, and other relevant resources, to inform Good Foods strategies, accelerate business growth and identify new business opportunities
  • Design the learning agenda, measure brand performance, and transform data-based consumer & shopper insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Plan, design and conduct various consumer research studies to align with objectives. This includes research design, vendor sourcing, evaluating cost/benefit tradeoffs and execution. 
  • Assist the Chief Growth Officer to build out this newly established function at Good Foods
  • Successfully manage vendor/partner and provide consumer insight leadership with internal cross functional teams, acting as a strategic partner with marketing, R&D, sales, suppliers, agencies and consultants
  • Leverage insights from a broad range of data sources and other internal tools to drive strategic recommendations. Provide analysis and associated recommendations to team, with ability to tailor to specific audiences
  • Publish brand health KPIs for internal teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of brand marketing fundamentals, marketing strategy and track record of translating consumer insights into strategy and innovation priorities for a brand
  • Must be able to develop and objective point-of-view and seen as a strategic thought leader within the organization
  • Ability to be a strong voice of the consumer, think outside the box and shape strategic direction
  • Strong analytics skills and ability to translate insights into action
  • Excellent planning and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and storytelling ability
  • Strong collaboration with different levels and cross functional teams
  • Must be flexible; ability to change strategies quickly to accommodate changing business needs
  • Ability to problem solve and provide strategic solutions quickly
  • Ability to be self-motivated, use independent judgement skills and decision-making skills to resolve situations while maintaining confidentiality

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably on manufacturer-side and with a branded, consumer-packaged-goods company, or combination of supplier-side and manufacturer-side experience. Innovation and Food industry experience a plus
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
