Responsibilities:- Develop test cases to exercise software features and potentially automate tests so they can be run regularly as part of continuous integration
- Contribute through participation in agile development to the design and execution of functional, negative, performance, and stress tests for IDEMIA’s products
- Impact through your recommended modifications to processes and procedures, and directly contribute to standard methodologies, QA processes, and guidelines
- Work with various teams (development, product owners, analysts and senior Test team members) to support customer’s needs and debug problems found during the test cycle
- Work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural engineering team
- Apply risk management principles to guide test plan development
- Provide support in design, development and production phases of projects.
- Evaluate test processes and procedures and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Review project deliverables and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Plan, create, maintain and execute detailed test plans, and scripts for verification of, but not limited to, software functionality, security, load, and performance.
- Work closely, collaboratively and communicates effectively with project stakeholders, engineers, and managers. Takes initiative and ownership, performs as a mentor and helps build a positive, productive work team.
- Understanding of software quality engineering processes, agile framework, tools, methods, test development, algorithms and data structures
- Demonstrated ability to learn relevant technologies
- Robust communication (written and verbal), collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Drive and eagerness to learn
- Ability to creatively and efficiently plan, organize and execute test plans, test cases following Agile and SAFe standards.
- Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills; must be able to multi-task and/or prioritize work, even when faced with conflicting demands and variety of problems
- Excellent writing skills including documentation skills
- Excellent verbal skills; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively with technical teams, management, and customers
- Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Must be a self-motivated individual, able to operate independently within established department/company practices
