About the Position

What We are Looking for:

A successful candidate would be someone who has a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze and consolidate financial results that will aid in providing future recommendations for financial improvement. The candidate needs excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Location: This is an on-site role in the Dallas, TX area. (Potential to be Hybrid after initial 3 months of employment)
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform financial forecasting, variance analysis of actual versus forecast, and reconciliation of internal accounts to assess strategic decision alternatives
• Prepare financial-related analysis and research in areas such as financial and cost-saving performance measures
• Participate in the annual and monthly budget process and cost-saving activities in the corporation with each department head
• Track current financial and operational data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation
• Create written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals
• Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management
• Support the creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in finance or accounting
• 5 years of business finance or accounting experience preferred
• Ability to use computer software, including Microsoft Office Suites or similar software, and accounting software
• SQL, PowerBI, and NetSuite is a Plus
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a Plus
• Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis
