THE POSITION

The Senior Partnership Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering FIFA’s commercial partner rights at the local level, ensuring seamless coordination with the global FIFA Partnership Management team in Zurich. This includes day-to-day relationship management, operational delivery at venues and events where required, and strategic alignment with partner objectives within the host country and region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proactively lead and foster relationships with FIFA Commercial Partners operating in Brazil, ensuring consistent, high-quality servicing in line with global standards.
  • Act as the key local point of contact for assigned Commercial Partner, ensuring continuous alignment and close collaboration with the Partnership Management team at FIFA Zurich to maintain consistent servicing and delivery across all touchpoints.
  • Lead assigned partnership projects and deliverables related to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ in Brazil, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget execution while identifying meaningful, locally relevant business and marketing opportunities that enhance partner impact and remain aligned with FIFA’s global partnership and brand strategy.
  • Project lead for assigned local partner activations and FIFA-related events in Brazil (e.g. Local Commercial Partner Workshops).
  • Ensure local partner activations and brand visibility adhere to FIFA’s third-party regulations and brand protection standards, working in close coordination with the Commercial Legal and Brand teams.
  • Track and manage local partner budgets and support reconciliation processes in close coordination with the Zurich Partnerships team.
  • Prepare and lead meetings and updates with internal and external stakeholders, including regular reporting to the Partnership Management team at FIFA Zurich.
  • Provide solution-oriented, proactive support to the Head of Commercial Partnerships in Brazil and contribute to a unified servicing approach across global and local workstreams.
  • Support continuous improvement by feeding local market insights and operational learnings into FIFA’s global partnership tools and client servicing frameworks.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field
  • A solid understanding of the business of sports, marketing, and sponsorship rights delivery
  • Project and event management experience, ideally in an international environment
  • Working knowledge of digital and social media is an advantage
  • 6–8 years of experience in brand marketing, sponsorship, or client servicing in the sports or entertainment industry
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in or with international organizations and global brands
  • Familiarity with the Brazilian market and local executional landscape is a strong asset
  • Client-oriented with strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Efficient and effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to define priorities, lead projects independently, and provide direction to junior team members when required
  • Team-oriented, service-minded, and collaborative across functions
  • Strategic and creative problem-solver with a hands-on mindset
  • Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability
  • High level of professionalism, empathy, and commercial awareness
  • Strong representation skills, both internally and externally
  • Right to work in Brazil. 
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)
  • Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
