    The Role

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Category Manager – Hospitality to join our Procurement team. This role provides expertise and leadership across the Hospitality category (Food, Beverage, OS&E), driving strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and long-term category planning across Crown’s three Australian resorts in Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

    You will lead the development and execution of category strategies, optimise supplier relationships, and deliver commercial outcomes that align with Crown’s enterprise objectives. Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll influence decisions, manage risk, and ensure operational excellence.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Developing and executing strategic category plans that deliver cost, quality, and service improvements.
    • Driving sourcing events and leveraging Crown’s scale to achieve best-for-Crown outcomes.
    • Building strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimise performance and innovation.
    • Managing supplier risk and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks.
    • Leading sustainability initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
    • Overseeing contract management, supplier performance reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
    • Supporting purchasing teams across all sites to ensure consistency in service, policy, and process.

    About You

    You are a commercially astute procurement professional with a strong background in category management and strategic sourcing. Ideally you would be an SME in hospiatlity with a passion for hotels. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to delivering value and innovation.

    You will also bring:

    • Extensive experience in category management and sourcing within hospitality, FMCG, or a formal strategic procurement environment.
    • A proven track record in identifying and delivering sustained cost reduction opportunities.
    • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Well-developed supplier relationship management capabilities.
    • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Finance.
