The holiday season is here! In addition to the plenty of gatherings with family and friends, the holiday season also brings a time of lots of spending! Flamingo Island Flea Market is seeking PART-TIME customer friendly & dedicated team players to join our concessions team as a Bartender/Cook just in time for the holiday season to add extra money to your gift funds! This position is responsible for making, prepping and delivering alcohol and non- alcohol beverages and ordering and delivering food. It also provides support in the food concession department at Flamingo Island Flea Market by performing the following duties.
   

This is a Part-Time, weekend based (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) position and we are motivated to hire immediately

Responsibilities: 

  • Follows all local and state health regulations. 
  • Prepares alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Checks customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Completes opening and closing duties. 
  • Cleans all machines, equipment and tools, as necessary
  • Uses equipment correctly. 
  • Cleans, stocks and maintains guest and employee areas. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Cooks to order hot and cold food items
  • Produce quality food that looks and taste great
  • Maintains food areas.
  • Corrects wrong orders when necessary.
  • Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Must abide by all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Must be ok working outdoors
  • 1+ years of experience

Must be able to work weekends Saturday and Sunday.
