About the opportunity
The University of Sydney is seeking innovative Education Designer to join our Faculty of Medicine and Health. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to support academic and teaching staff, with a strong focus on curriculum and assessment design. You will drive innovation in online learning, developing engaging student experiences, creating practical tools and resources, and applying creative solutions to current challenges and opportunities.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- provide technical expertise to develop and enhance educational resources and student learning experiences
- design creative, student focused learning experiences for both online and blended modalities
- develop innovative learning and assessment strategies in targeted curriculum areas
- advise and collaborate with Course Directors, Academics, and Teaching Staff during resource, module, and course development
- provide strategic guidance on the use of educational and multimedia technologies across faculty programs
- support the implementation of University and Faculty policies and guidelines related to education, teaching, and curriculum.
About you
- think creatively and collaboratively to develop innovative solutions for students, staff, and the community
- stakeholder management, building strong partnerships across the faculty and campuses
- demonstrate excellent time management, prioritisation, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines
- apply strong problem solving skills and digital literacy, using initiative and sound judgment
- develop knowledge of University policies and their application to curriculum and assessment design
- have experience in a tertiary education environment, with proficiency in Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Cogniti, AI, and other educational technologies.
