Licensed Social Worker/Mental Health Professional Arkansas Arts Academy is currently seeking a dynamic Licensed Social Worker/Mental Health Professional to join our PreK-12 Public Charter School in Rogers, AR. Arkansas Arts Academy, is seeking a skilled clinician to join our team in supporting children aged 5-18 years of age facing mental health challenges and family support needs. Our public charter school provides a nurturing and structured environment where healing, growth, and transformation are made possible through education and community support. This position is classified as full-time, exempt (salaried) and reports to the Arkansas Arts Academy CEO. The position will operate during school hours, based on the AAA 2025-2026 school calendar. (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m) The position is grant funded with the potential for renewal for 2026-2027 school year. Work Responsibilities: What you will do as a Mental Health Professional at Arkansas Arts Academy: Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and with mental health in a school setting. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and regularly evaluate progress toward therapeutic goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including case managers, school counselors, principals, CEO, medical staff, and direct care staff to ensure whole person, coordinated care. Medicaid bill for all allowable services in coordination with AAA guidelines. Integrate trauma-informed principles into therapeutic practices in a respectful and supportive manner, aligned with the school’s mission, vision and values. Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups focused on topics such as emotional regulation, trauma recovery, substance use prevention, and healthy relationships. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development activities. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. Engage with families and guardians to support improved wellness for all settings, healing, and long-term health. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in accordance with professional licensure and organizational Requirement: Masters degree in counseling, social work or similar field Current Arkansas license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW or LCSW or similar mental health license) Effective written and verbal communication skills The ability to multitask. The ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
