Housekeeping Manager (Hotel)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the Housekeeping Manager at Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' accommodations. With your leadership and attention to detail, you'll oversee the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service excellence, all while working in an environment where exposure to smoke may occur depending on the location.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
  • Address guest complaints and requests promptly and effectively, striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to obtain Gaming license (if applicable).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality management position.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Work may involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate operational needs.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and other substances used in housekeeping operations, as well as smoke depending on the location.
