Job Summary
• This role is responsible for guiding marketing analytics and operations professionals, directing their daily activities, and overseeing the execution of marketing excellence projects . The role helps drive the Long-Term Strategic (LTP) process for Marketing and Corporate Affairs to the achievement of strategic objectives of the organization. This role will lead the integrated cycles for L1/L2s across Marketing and Corporate Affairs teams. You will translate the leaders’ priorities into planning actions (from strategic choices to decisions and implementation) to drive a high-impact plan execution for the CMCAO organization. Throughout the year, you will establish organization-level business management controls to maximize budget utilization, minimize risks and allow for the agility to plan for opportunity. This role also will be responsible for enabling cross-functional L2 planning integration & enablement, with a focus on supporting smart choice points with diplomacy. You will also demonstrate excellent team leadership and development skills.
Responsibilities
- Drives high-impact plan development that enables the execution of business and marketing strategies (e.g., optimizing for growth, reducing costs)
- Influences high-level leaders by presenting compelling analysis and recommendations for optimizing performance across all marketing L2 organizations.
- Anticipates emerging trends that may impact the overall business model and proactively brings opportunities/threats into the planning process
- Recognized for smart financial impact and smart business impact
- Develops a unified process and a framework to build plans, define and measure success, identify opportunities and continuously course-correct to achieve better outcomes
- Develops recommendation from complex data and business analyses and formulates them into business plans.
- Drives the construction of highly innovative statistical and/or financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance and identify opportunities for the marketing function
- Manages a team of seasoned planners and analysts , growing and developing a high impact team
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in marketing, data analytics, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills
- Exhibits business and financial acumen to develop meaningful business recommendations; demonstrates the ability to "connect the dots" between business strategy/initiatives, operational plans and financial performance.
- Comfortable driving decision-making when implications extend to multiple functions require mature negotiation and compromise
- Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex objectives
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
- Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple work streams independently
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team- building, conflict resolution, and management
- Ability to synthesize and summarize complex planning and business decisions for an executive audience
- Exposure to and knowledge of analytical tools and frameworks in use in HP

The pay range for this role is $146,650 to $225,850 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
