Regional Director chez LaSalle Corrections

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Directs LaSalle operated facilities 

Develops and implements strategic goals, policies, and evaluation techniques. 

Reviews and approves budgets, reports, and compliance documents. 

Represents the agency in legislative, legal, and public forums. 

Supervises the work of others and oversees staff development

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Extensive overnight travel

Required Knowledge Skills/Abilities: 

Knowledge of state and federal laws, public administration, and agency policies. 

Strong communication and coordination skills. 

Proficiency in problem-solving, policy interpretation, and technical reporting. 

Ability to lead programs, set strategic goals, and supervise staff. 

Skilled in evaluating alternatives and implementing effective solutions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred (majors: Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration). 

Ten years of full-time correctional administration experience, including five years of supervisor experience

Governmental agency experience preferred.

Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing only the essential functions include computer and related equipment, calculator, copier, fax machine, telephone, dolly, and automobile

Pay: $130,000 - $155,000 salaried
