As the Director of Technical Operations, you’ll guide the planning, implementation, and management of our enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity operations to ensure that every connection, service, and system supports the spread of God’s Word.

What You’ll Do 

Lead Enterprise IT Operations: Oversee the daily operations of infrastructure, network, and endpoint support services to ensure reliable and efficient technology performance across the organization. 

Drive Cloud Innovation: Direct the implementation and maintenance of hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure, Microsoft 365, etc.), ensuring scalability, availability, and security. 

Safeguard Systems and Data: Provide oversight for cybersecurity operations, collaborating with the security team to ensure compliance, manage incidents, and align infrastructure practices with risk management strategies. 

Champion Excellence and Standards: Evaluate and implement technology standards, processes, and performance metrics to ensure consistency and quality across all IT operations. 

Lead Strategic Projects: Manage cross-functional technical initiatives, coordinating teams and vendors to deliver enterprise-wide infrastructure solutions on time and within scope. 

Mentor and Develop Teams: Guide and empower technical staff, fostering professional growth and a culture of collaboration, excellence, and ministry-minded service. 

Plan for the Future: Provide strategic input on IT budgets, technology roadmaps, and long-term resource planning that supports ministry expansion and innovation. 

What You Bring 

Education: A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred for advanced strategic and leadership insight. 

Experience: 7+ years of progressive infrastructure or technical operations experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role overseeing enterprise IT environments. 

Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise with Azure, Microsoft 365, virtualization, backups, and endpoint management, coupled with a strong grasp of networking, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning. 

Leadership & Communication: Effective communicator and strategic leader with proven success managing teams, projects, and change initiatives in complex technical environments. 

Faith-Rooted Living: Demonstrates a Christ-centered life, regular engagement with Scripture, and ongoing spiritual growth.
