ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure the highest possible standards of guest service are provided and listen and respond to guest and team member concerns and questions.
- Recommend and implement strategies to develop new players and increase return visits for high-level casino guests to increase profits.
- Make room reservations, arrange for amenities, airline reservations, and limo arrangements as necessary for casino guests. Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e., comp slips, reservation request forms, etc.).
- Make appropriate decisions regarding complimentary based on recorded play, earned points, comp availability, and guest profitability.
- Communicate with premium/rated guests through telemarketing, letter writing, email, or in person about services, promotional opportunities, and special events. Arrange for guests to join these events.
- Maintain accurate call logs and follow-up actions to ensure guest engagement and conversion.
- Respond to guest complaints in a considerate, professional, and positive manner that displays concern for their experience.
- Regain guest loyalty under difficult circumstances.
- Maintain current knowledge of all events, promotions, and special functions by reviewing all available information to provide guests with accurate details and ensure satisfaction.
- Proactively seek out new business on the casino floor, introducing the benefits of and soliciting enrollment for the Player’s Club.
- Devote significant time being visible and available on the casino floor to meet and greet guests during individual visits and special events.
- Prioritize, organize, and complete multiple activities in a high-pressure environment.
- Production Expectations:
- Share best practices and support team objectives to achieve overall departmental goals.
- Achieve the goals and objectives of the Marketing Department.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned and required.
- Assist with special events and promotions as needed or assigned.
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Possess a strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills. Has the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, clients, and the public.
· Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills are a must.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, and Outlook.
· Must be able to maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude at all times.
· Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and complex task completion skills is required.
· Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
· Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 5 years Casino Host experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
· Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.
· While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, frequently standing, walking, occasionally reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift.
· Must be able to push/pull and/or carry/lift 10lbs or less constantly and 50lbs or less occasionally.
· The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands, frequent light grasping motions, and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
· Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and electrical devices.
· Team member may be exposed to confined areas, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions, vibrations, moving objects, high places, and slippery surfaces.
· The noise level in the work environment is moderate but can be quiet or loud at times.
