• Allocate tasks based on team strengths and project needs.
• Serve as the primary interface with manufacturing, ensuring design-for-manufacturability and smooth handoffs.
• Collaborate across engineering functions to align priorities, share resources, and integrate processes.
• Drive progress tracking, task coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance in design reviews, product development, and problem-solving.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation efforts.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience leading engineering teams - formally or informally.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially across functions.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and PDM tools.
• A passion for building teams, solving complex problems, and delivering reliable products.
• Strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Note: We’re flexible on years of experience - we’re looking for the right leader with the potential to grow with us.

Why Join Us?
• Be part of a mission-driven team designing systems that support our mission to protect, connect, and save lives.
• Help shape an evolving organization and build a team capable of tackling diverse engineering challenges.
• Work in a culture that values innovation, lean processes, and practical solutions.
• Enjoy the opportunity to influence both product and process in a collaborative environment.

Ready to Apply?
If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting - and you're excited about building both products and people - we’d love to hear from you.
