Design Director, Fanatics Betting & Gaming 

As a Design Director at Fanatic Betting & Gaming (FBG), you are responsible for overseeing and leading touch points for the Creative Studio team. As a Design lead, the ideal candidate has impressive experience leading design teams and building brands in early stages. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of emerging digital assets and crypto exchanges. Reporting into the VP Creative, the Director will play an integral role on the Creative Studio team as well as the broader FBG Marketing department. 

Responsibilities

  • Own touchpoints from a design perspective, driving fan engagement and overall loyalty
  • Run multiple creative work streams and competing priorities in an efficient and organized manner 
  • Partner with external vendors and agencies for creative studio needs
  • Act as the lead resource and point of contact for the business.
  • Provide executive deck design and creative direction
  • Help bring the brand FBG to life in all touch points
  • Build a culture rooted in strong design principles, focused on delivering the best work in a timely, efficient manner 
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a design team, providing mentorship and professional development to ensure team growth and success
  • Foster an environment of inclusivity and build a culture of accountability 

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design or related field
  • 10+ years design experience, 3+ years managing a team or an agency
  • Deep understanding of emerging digital assets, crypto exchanges and marketplaces is required with previous experience in the digital assets / crypto marketplaces being preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools is a plus
  • Experience in the sports or entertainment industries preferred with gaming industry experience a plus 
  • A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on strong design fundamentals
  • Proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally within FBG and the larger Fanatics organization
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings

Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $143,450 to $216,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
