Description

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Uphold the mission of Humane Animal Rescue throughout all responsibilities of the position.
  • Understand and support the Open Door Philosophy of Humane Animal Rescue.
  • Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, managers, directors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone system.
  • Friendly, professional and courteous manner with customers is essential.
  • Answer telephone calls for the agency and be able to provide immediate assistance with the customers questions or direct the customer to the proper staff.
  • Return all phone calls the day in which they are received. Transfer and direct all calls to their correct destination.
  • Greet and assist customers at the front desk with directions, general information, or any other questions they may have.
  • Assist customers with their questions, providing the highest level of customer service and accuracy.
  • Make changes to, and assist other employees with, the operation of the voice mail system.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • General computer knowledge regarding Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Compassion for and ability to be sympathetic to owners and pet caretakers.
  • Comfortable with basic computer skills.
  • A compassion for animals and support for the Open Door philosophy.
