We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be part of a supportive team managing a portfolio of multinational accounts. You’ll focus on building strong client relationships, delivering excellent service, and working closely with the Managing Principal and other Marsh colleagues to make a real difference to multinational accounts in the local market.
We will count on you to:
- Manage and deliver risk management and insurance programs that meet client needs accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts through regular and clear communication
- Work closely with the Principal/Managing Principal to understand clients’ businesses and their risk and insurance needs
- Identify opportunities to help clients reduce risk beyond traditional insurance solutions
- Stay updated on complex claim matters and assist claims teams in negotiating fair outcomes
- Develop strong connections with insurers, clients, and Marsh colleagues across Australia
- Grow your portfolio by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Support renewal, retention, and defence strategies in partnership with the Managing Principal/Principal
What you need to have:
- A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service with solid technical and consulting skills
- Awareness of the broader environment affecting clients and the business, including regulatory and financial factors
- Good commercial sense and understanding of what drives successful service delivery
- Strong organisational skills to keep tasks on track and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and ready to take on new challenges with confidence and independence
- Tier 1 FSRA compliance
What makes you stand out:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in insurance broking or claims
- Good understanding of business and organisational risk management
- Entry level experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Well-rounded knowledge of insurance products and services
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
