During the winter season, our Walks Crew plays a vital role in keeping commercial properties safe, accessible, and well-cared for. Position: Walks Crew (Snow Shoveler)
Location: Fergus / Guelph Area
Start Date: Immediately
Employment Type: Seasonal or Year-Round
Wage: $19–$26/hour, depending on skills and qualifications
Year-round opportunities available to transition into our Garden, Lawn, or Construction divisions.

What You’ll Be Doing
Snow & Ice Management
- Respond promptly when called in by the Snow Area Supervisor
- Clear sidewalks, walkways, building entrances, and pedestrian zones
- Apply salt and traction materials to prevent icing
Equipment & Site Support
- Safely use shovels, walk-behind snow blowers, and ice management tools
- Communicate site hazards or service needs to your Crew Leader
- Assist in keeping equipment and work areas organized and safe
Success Looks Like
- Properties remain clear, safe, and well-managed
- Tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Minimal incidents related to snow or ice conditions
What We're Looking For
Strengths/Traits
- Reliable and responsive to call-outs
- Able to work outdoors in winter conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
Experience / Assets
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset, but not a requirement
- Training provided on equipment and safety
- WHMIS, First Aid, CPR considered assets
