We are looking for a Facilities Manager for our location in Guadalupe, NL.

 

 

The Facilities Manager will implement strategic, tactical and operational systems to provide for the provisioning of space, infrastructure, and services associated with facilities located in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Provide and sustain budgetary control of purchasing card expenses for facilities operations. Coordinate Maintenance and shipping/receiving functions for Campus Monterrey operations.

 

 

What can you look forward as a Facility Manager:

 

 

  • Plan and coordinate installations, capital projects, and refurbishments (telecommunications, electricity, building additions, roofing, parking lots).

 

  • Manage maintenance and compliance for equipment, buildings, and systems, including inspections and safety testing.

 

  • Supervise internal facilities staff and external contractors, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.

 

  • Administer resources and costs: monitor utilities, prepare budgets, operating reports, and cost estimates.

 

  • Coordinate space allocation and general services (security, waste disposal, parking) and address office layout changes.

 

  • Implement strategic plans and policies for facilities growth, sustainability, and contract optimization.

 

 

Your profile as a Facility Manager:

 

 

  • Proven experience as a facilities Manager or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

 

  • Technical and operational expertise in facilities management best practices, including budgeting, cost estimation, and compliance.

 

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to build teams and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.

 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Project).

 

  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; 8–10 years of experience.

 

  • Ability to manage safety and environmental requirements, hazardous materials training preferred, and experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
