About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Deckhand on one of our top-notch vessels. If you're self-motivated and thrive in a high-performing, dynamic team, this is the job for you!
Location: Based in Margate, with work across multiple stunning sites.
Roster: 7 days on, 7 days off
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and remove fish nets, mooring systems, and anchors.
- Maintain leases.
- Operate vessels up to 52 meters.
- Load and unload supplies, generators, and compressors.
- Assist with salmon growth operations.
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and vessels.
- Operate deck componentry including capstans, winches, and cranes.
About You: We're seeking a hands-on, self-motivated individual with a passion for salmon and the following attributes:
- Previous deckhand experience is essential (preferably in a commercial fishing environment).
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Physical fitness.
- Commitment to safety.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
- Right to work full-time in Australia.
- Coxswains NC2 (preferred but not essential).
