  • Clerk Grade 7/8 Salary ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 + super and annual leave loading

We’re introducing an exciting new role for a Cleaning Facilities Trainer an opportunity to shape the future of cleaning services across NSW schools. 

In this role, you’ll design and deliver high-quality, practical training programs that empower cleaners and supervisors to deliver safe, consistent, and customer-focused services. 

 

About the role 

 

The Cleaning Facilities Trainer designs, delivers, and evaluates practical training programs for cleaners and supervisors across Hunter and Central Coast Regions. The role ensures compliance with WHS, departmental policies, and cleaning contract standards while building workforce capability to deliver safe, consistent, and customer-focused services. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to identify training needs, deliver engaging learning programs, and support continuous improvement in cleaning practices across the state.

About You 

 

You’re an experienced, hands-on trainer with a passion for helping others grow. 

 

 You bring: 

  • Experience in cleaning services and or previous experience in delivering effective training in a compliance-driven environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, cleaning standards, and safe work practices. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams. 
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, workforce development, and service excellence. 

 

 

Essential requirements 

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent experience. 
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel 
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
