About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy Customer Development Manager – Food Services to lead our customer acquisition and growth efforts in the Greater Jakarta area. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, ideal for someone with a hunter mindset and strong strategic capabilities in the food service channel. You will focus on expanding our footprint across HORECA and institutional segments, including hotels, restaurants, catering services, and corporate buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new key accounts in the HORECA and institutional segments
- Develop and execute customer development strategies tailored to the Jakarta food service market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers
- Lead negotiations and manage trade terms with strategic partners
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to deliver customer solutions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy
- Ensure execution of pricing, promotions, and product placement strategies
- Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and contract-period sales targets
Who We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in customer development, key account management, or food service sales
- Proven track record of acquiring and growing strategic accounts
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Commercially savvy with a hunter mindset and strategic thinking
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented
- Available for a fixed-term maternity cover assignment
