Managing Director/Geschäftsführer – VP, EMEA Omni Operations (m/f/d)
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader with extensive experience in supply chain, distribution, and omni-channel operations to join Pandora as VP, EMEA Omni Operations. This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of our largest Distribution Centre in a highly complex region, based in Hamburg, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global operations.
In this high-impact role, you will drive the development and execution of Pandora’s Global Operations Strategy, with a sharp focus on omni-channel excellence across the EMEA supply chain. You’ll lead a diverse portfolio of functions including Warehousing, Logistics & Planning, Operational Excellence, Customer Experience (B2B and B2C), and Trade & Customs.
Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering operational innovation, commercial growth, and quality customer service, responsible overall for 250 people on site and 7 direct reports. We are, therefore, looking for a natural collaborator and passionate people leader, someone well versed in building high performing and engaged teams, as well as building strong stakeholder relationships in fast-paced and complex matrix environments.

Key responsibility include.
- Take ownership of meeting fiscal targets set from the Executive and Senior Leadership Team
- Set KPI targets in conjunction with Global and lead on-going performance management
- Own the European distribution logistics network across channels
- Ensure efficient and strategic global carrier, distribution and logistics partner relationships
- Meet sustainability metrics, quality, safety and security across the supply chain
- Conduct periodical reviews with customers and stakeholders
- Own the management and tracking of transportation performance across the region
- Provide strategic direction within Distribution and Logistics functions
- Engage with the other regional DCs collaborating on Best Practice sharing and improvements
- Provide direction with state of the art, emerging processes, technologies, innovation and facilitation
- Handle executive communication, setting expectations, presenting findings and making recommendations

Skills & Experience you must possess and demonstrate:
- You have proven your ability to lead, develop and inspire high-performing teams.
- You have the ability to think strategically, understanding complex business challenges and formulate effective solutions designed to create sustained and improved business results.
- You have a proven track-record of providing a high-level of service to internal and external customers and can foster strong partnerships and across all levels and functions.
- Significant logistics, supply chain and/or distribution management, with at least 5 years of experience in a mid/senior-level corporate operational setting
- Must have operated in a regional role, to understand the complexity and scale
- Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and business acumen
- Strong analytical skills, and understanding how to drive decision making
- Solid financial skills and commercial awareness
- Experience managing a high-volume pick & pack distribution facility
- Knowledge and curiosity in using innovative distribution practices and technologies.
