This position is hybrid model in our São Bernardo do Campo unit.
Position Summary
The Service Planner and Scheduler role is vital for ensuring alignment between demand and industrial resources, adhering to the Quality / Cost / Lead Time framework and the defined objectives within budgetary constraints. This involves developing, managing, and monitoring supply and production/repair plans according to demand, from internal order validation to delivery.
As a key interface between planning and the APRU manager, the role entails responsibility for scheduling orders in relation to the repair plan, order tracking, and short-term workload/capacity analysis. Additionally, monitoring component availability to carry out repair orders is crucial.
In summary, the role combines strategic planning and detailed scheduling to balance workload and capacity while ensuring timely delivery and product quality.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Ensure Repair Plan execution;
- Refine the Production Plan integrating subcontracting industrial constraints;
- Develop, manage, and monitor subcontracting supply and repair plans in line with demand, from internal order validation to delivery;
- Assess actual industrial cycles (supply, manufacturing, and repair) and update the ERP accordingly;
- Manage physical flows (calling in materials for inspection/repair) and IT flows in ERP-Tool (calling components to the workshop);
- Launch, schedule, and close repair orders, assigning them to qualified repair technicians in collaboration with the manager;
- Update and complete repair processes to schedule inspections;
- Identify and confirm component requirements, carrying out stock movements as required;
- Analyze component availability; if necessary, create Purchase Requests;
- Update planning while accounting for unforeseen challenges;
- Ensure medium-term supply coverage and provide real-time alerts if issues arise;
- Ensure compliance with expected deadlines and specific contractual commitments regarding quality and industrial processes in coordination with the manager;
- Plan, organize, and initiate subcontracting operations within the scope;
- Participate in various improvement projects, including problem-solving initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
- Experience in production, supply chain, and maintenance;
- In-depth understanding of industrial and repair flow processes;
- Strong familiarity with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process;
- Demonstrated ability to excel in complex and dynamic environments;
- Advanced English.
