About the role
Deliver individualised, evidence-based Occupational Therapy care to adults living within the St Vincent’s catchment to support functional recovery and independence
Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement measurable, goal-oriented treatment plans
Facilitate both individual and group-based interventions, including psychoeducation, health promotion, and relapse prevention.
Support patient flow and recovery through effective discharge planning and coordination with community, inpatient, and mental health services
Contribute to service development, clinical research, and continuous quality improvement within a supportive, growth-oriented team environment
About you
Registered with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist with an unrestricted NSW Driver’s License.
Demonstrated core competency skills in mental health in regard to functional assessments and interventions for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Ability to work collaboratively with consumers within a strength focused and recovery-oriented framework.
Demonstrated experience working within a multi-disciplinary team in a mental health setting.
Experience working in collaboration with a range of stakeholders such as NDIS, non-government organisations and community groups.
Experience and commitment to working with clients experiencing complex needs, including homelessness, drug and alcohol use and forensic issues.
