Job Description:
Accenture is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Client Account Manager to join our Public Service Practice. In this pivotal role, you will drive client engagement, foster strategic relationships, and define, sell, and deliver innovative solutions tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of public service clients. Key Responsibilities
- Drive client engagement and foster strategic relationships, ensuring delivery of innovative solutions that address clients' unique needs.
- Lead complex, cross-functional engagements to drive client expansion and deliver solutions aligned with clients' business objectives.
- Take end to end accountability in defining and selling innovative solutions tailored to the challenges and opportunities within the Public Service Industry.
- Build and lead diverse teams to deliver innovative solutions in alignment with client goals and expectations.
- Address delivery challenges to meet contractual commitments, service level agreements, and maintain high client satisfaction standards.
- Utilise advanced skills in strategic planning and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and drive business outcomes.
- Originate opportunities in compliance with probity and procurement pathways; drive innovative constructs and solutioning to grow business.
- Manage sales, revenue, and profitability, managing account financials and key commercial processes.
- Foster ecosystem collaboration with technology vendors, service providers (including small and medium enterprises), and industry partners to encourage innovation and deliver public value.
- Take ownership and drive excellence across account strategy, sales proposals, and contracted delivery outcomes.
- Represent the Public Service Practice at industry events and forums, contributing to the development of thought leadership, brand, and reputation.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience working in or consulting to Public Service, with a strong understanding of the sector’s business strategy, technologies, processes, and policies.
- Proven track record in business development, with experience building and maintaining relationships with senior executives at client organisations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and build strong client and team relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and tailor solutions to client needs.
- Comprehensive industry and consulting experience, including strategy, solutioning, and/or implementation delivery.
- Solid commercial background, including proposal writing, pricing, and contracting.
